About Soroti Calvary Chapel

Soroti Calvary Chapel is a non - denominational church, formed as a fellowship of believes in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the Power of the Holy Sprit.

We believe that there is one God, externally exists in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature and that all are justified on the simple grounds of faith on the shed blood of Christ and that only by Gods grace through faith are we saved.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the actions is enabled to live a godly life.

MISSION STATEMENT

Soroti Calvary Chapel exists to raise up a body of believers in Jesus Christ through the teaching of the inspired Word of God; proclaiming the gospel of salvation and equipping the body for works of service, discipleship and missions in Uganda and beyond.
In furtherance of the above Vision, the objectives for which the company is established are;

1. To raise up a body of believers (church) in Jesus Christ through teaching of His Word equipping them for works of service.

2. To train and ordain leaders in the body of Christ who will be able to continue proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

3. To perform marriages on behalf of the government of Uganda.

4. To plant Bible teaching churches and sends missionaries throughout Uganda and beyond

5. To support communities with those activities that further the gospel of Jesus Christ that include but are not limited to: education, healthcare and community development.
